# Hyperscale Enterprise

Enterprise is the edition for a bank, an insurer or any enterprise running its
internal systems. Each system is a Core: an HSX program compiled and run by
Arc, the same engine that runs Launch Products. The enterprise's own Arc hosts
its Cores, its people and its counterparties. Both editions run the same
operations and the same screens; only the words differ.

## How an enterprise starts

There is no self-serve sign-up. Hyperscale provisions the enterprise:

1. Hyperscale staff create the tenant with `tenant.create`, passing
   `edition: "enterprise"` and the administrator's address as `ownerEmail`.
Arc writes the tenant, its team and a pending owner invitation, and emails
   the administrator.
2. The administrator opens the invitation, sets a password and signs in as
the enterprise's owner. The console labels that role Administrator.
3. The administrator invites colleagues from People and gives each a role.
Custom roles sit beside the six built-in ones.

An address that already has an account is never invited as a second
enterprise's administrator.

## Signing in

On a Hyperscale host, choose the black half of the door, "Run your internal
systems." An invited colleague chooses "Accept the invitation". A self-hosted
Arc has no door and opens on Enterprise sign-in.

The door only picks the sign-in page. After sign-in the tenant's edition
decides the words, so a person who came through the Launch door into an
enterprise reads Enterprise words.

## Home and the Core pipeline

Enterprise Home lists the Cores, each with a five-stage pipeline: Brief,
Requirements, Design, HSX and Running. Arc stores no stage. The console derives
each one: Brief is done once the Core has a business description, Requirements,
Design and HSX once the program is composed, and Running once the Core is
active. The Core page shows the same stages as columns.

## The console's words

| Launch | Enterprise |
| ----------------- | --------------------- |
| Hyperscale | Hyperscale Enterprise |
| Company | Enterprise |
| Products | Cores |
| Create product | New Core |
| Customers | Parties |
| Business partners | Counterparties |
| Team | People |
| Owner | Administrator |
| Launch (side) | Run (side) |
| Revenue | Posted |
| Hosted platform | Own Arc |

Stored values never change. An administrator's role is `owner` in the API, a
Core is a `product` and a party is a `customer`.
